Generic Release Of Viibryd Is Now Available

The generic version of Viibryd (Vilazodone HCl) has recently been released and is approved by the FDA.

Viibryd (Vilazodone HCl) is a prescription medicine indicated for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults. Vilazodone is manufactured by Accord Healthcare Inc., Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Apotex Corporation and InvaGen Pharmaceuticals. It is available in 10mg, 20mg and 40mg tablets.

Generic prescription drugs approved by the FDA have the same high quality and strength as brand name drugs. Generic prescription drug manufacturing and packaging sites must pass the same quality standards as those of brand name drugs.
